Cradling Arms is a weekly drop-in, for expecting and new parents of infants up to 1 year. Older toddler sibling may attend also.
Each week a RN will be present to weigh babies and provide information, support and anticipatory guidance relating to breastfeeding, infant care issues and general parenting. Guest speakers will attend approximately every 4 to 6 weeks and present topics such as; infant development, nutrition, fitness, infant massage, common illnesses, dental, and car seat safety. Program Goals:
• To provide a weekly drop-in for parents to bring their babies for breastfeeding assessment, have their babies weighed, and to obtain information and resources.
• To provide a weekly opportunity for parents to meet other parents, to share information and support.
• To provide links to other community resources when necessary.
