ComfortCountry is otherwise known as the communities of Madoc, Marmora, Stirling and Tweed exactly halfway between Toronto and Ottawa in the central region of Hastings County.  We have a combined population of just over 20,000 permanent residents.

In ComfortCountry we have antique and knick knack shops instead of crowded big-box stores.  We still shop downtown in our unique shops settled amongst heritage buildings.  We have bed & breakfasts and country inns instead of high rise hotels.  We enjoy the rural small town quality of life without the loss of urban amenities and access to technology.  Best of all, we don't have any rush hour traffic!
